French keyboards have some letters in different places so this may look funny/take a while!  We also no longer have phone coverage in Europe dispite what Vodafone said before we left :(

Highlights - Day 6
  • We visited Notre Dame.
  • We went to the top of the Eiffel Tower worth the 2 hours worth of lining up!!!
  • We saw with our own eyes the Mona Lisa at the Louvre.
  • Our Hotel La Demeure is beautiful, we are on the 5th floor and can see the Eiffel Tower we also have a balconey.
  • Paris is much cheaper than London, we have three supermarkets on our street (still more than NZ though).
I am enjoying using a bit of French (S), although we are finding most tourist places know enough english for us to get by.

It will be weird when we come home and there is no lovely sculptures as a part of the architecture and balconies on buildings.

Highlights - Day 7

We visited Sacre Coeur which was peaceful and a lovely place to reflect. Hop on hop off tour was very busy today. We bought a purfume/calone today from Paris Look.   We will come back smelling fantastic! Went to the top of one of the Galleries Les Famette - the biggest department store I have been in to date.

Highlights - Day  8

Town was closed this morning, apart fro, the odd shop.  We traversed the the streets to have a look around local Paris and stumbled across a local market.  This was fantastic!  Such a variety of food (fruit!vegetables/chicken/fish) ; clothes; DVDs: flowers; cheeses; jewelery; wallets.  We were surprised how they kept the chickens out in the open after being cooked!  We also enjoyed watching Parisians folk dance at another market.   Relaxing and laundry day today.

Highlights  - Day 9

Disneyland was fantastic!!!  It was a dream come true...I (S) had tears in my eyes at the Wonderful World of Disney Parade - seeing Micky and Minnie in real life was unbelievable!  We enjoyed all of the major thrilling rides (Thunder Mountain and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom our favourites) and also had a ride on Dumbo and a Carosel.  We started the day with the original Pirates of the Caribean, it was great, with both a theme and thrill. 

We took pictures of Disneyland on a disposable camera so we were hands free.  We will get these developed and online at a later date.
